Italo took a new quiver of boards built for Tahiti but the new boards were only built up to 6'3.

Italos coach Rainos Hayes actually had some of Italos Hawaii boards still on hold. He had two 6'4's and one 6'5 that Italo had previously brought with him to Portugal and Australia and never really took advantage of. We decided to tune up the edges on them and clean them off and get them all dialed in again. Italo coach Rainos brought them over to Tahiti and those were the boards Italo ended up winning the event on.

What a truly sick event put on by the World Surf League.

The Board @italoferreira won 🏆 the 2024 Shiseido Tahiti Pro presented by Outerknown, stop number 6 on the @wsl Championship Tour held at Teahupo’o 🏆🍾was EPS Epoxy 6’5 x 18.75 x 2.50 x 30.2L @futuresfins. This board was actually out of Italo’s Hawaii quiver. @rainoshayes brought the board from Hawaii along with two other 6’4’s. This 6’5 was the winning board that he took the finals on! 🙌 Big shout out to @silversurfsurfboards @tpattersonsurfboards_brazil for all the hard team work.
